Deploying a Static HTML Website

Discover how to host high-speed static websites (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Astro, Hugo, or Jekyll exports) on MASACP with zero PHP overhead, automated Let’s Encrypt SSL, and direct web server caching.

Why Choose the Static HTML Mode?

Static websites consist of pre-rendered files that do not require server-side execution. By choosing the HTML application type:

  • Zero Overhead: PHP-FPM is completely disabled (marked as Not Required), saving server CPU and RAM.
  • Ultra-Fast Delivery: Nginx, OpenLiteSpeed, or OpenResty serves files directly from memory and disk with maximum throughput.
  • Maximum Security: With PHP disabled, execution of malicious PHP backdoor scripts is entirely impossible.

Step 1: Point Your Domain via DNS

Point your domain’s DNS records to your MASACP server IP:

  • A Record: Point @ to your server’s public IP address.
  • CNAME Record: Point www to your root domain.

Step 2: Open the Add Website Modal

  1. Log in to your MASACP Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to Websites in the sidebar.
  3. Click Add New Website.
  4. Select the HTML application type tab.

Step 3: Domain & Resource Allocation

  1. Domain Name: Enter your domain (e.g., example.com).
  2. Allocated Resource Limits: Set optional limits for Disk Limit (MB) and Max Inodes to prevent disk exhaustion, or leave as 0 for unlimited.

Step 4: Database & SSL Settings

  • Auto-Create & Link Database & User: Optional. Leave unchecked for pure static sites, or enable if your frontend connects to a local database service.
  • Auto-Issue Free SSL Certificate (Let’s Encrypt): Keep checked to secure your site with an automated HTTPS certificate and 301 redirection.

Step 5: Select Web Server & Deploy

  1. Web Server: Select Nginx, OpenLiteSpeed, or OpenResty.
  2. PHP: Displays Not Required (Static Site) automatically.
  3. Click Create Website & App Now.

Step 6: Uploading Your Static Files

Once created, publish your website content:

  1. Open the File Manager or connect via SFTP.
  2. Go to your website directory: /var/www/vhosts/example.com/public_html.
  3. Upload your index.html, assets, images, CSS, and JS files. Your site is instantly live worldwide.
